A behind the scenes look at the process of creating 'Welcome to Airbnb'. The film was shot through a small camera mounted on the model train in a single, 60-second take. All external movements are mechanical, not animated or done in post-production. All the different transitions that were hand operated had to be incredibly coordinated.

Lodging listings website Airbnb has produced a new running TV ad titled, “Welcome to Airbnb,” just in time for the holiday season. The approximately one minute-long promotion features a lush, handmade set, which was constructed from scratch. Interestingly enough, the ad was also shot in only one take and features actual listings, adding another layer of depth and sincerity to Airbnb’s aspiration of making it’s members feel as if they can “belong anywhere.”
