Kano returns after six years and provides reassurances that grime is continuing to reach new heights. With a style that is more like spoken word than rap its no wonder that he is good friends with Mike Skinner as between them they have almost single handedly managed to create their own genre, one that is deeply intelligent, moving and relevant.

To support the release of the album, a documentary of Kano has been made, in which he revisits his roots – from his cousin’s barbershop, to his childhood home and behind-the-scenes footage of the MC in the studio. . If this proves to be Kano's last album, it will certainly go down as era defining and as grime continues to reach new heights,
